Cisco Small Business SFE/SGE Managed Switches Administration Guide
GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) is specifically provided for automatic
distribution of VLAN membership information among VLAN-aware bridges. GVRP
allows VLAN-aware bridges to automatically learn VLANs to bridge ports
mapping, without having to individually configure each bridge and register VLAN
membership.
The Global System LAG information displays the same field information as the
ports, but represents the LAG GVRP information.
To define GVRP.
Click Bridging > VLAN Management > GVRP Settings. The

GVRP Global Status — Indicates if GVRP is enabled on the device. The
possible field values are:

Enable
— Enables GVRP on the device.
