Adding a drive to an existing ATA RAID

To add the new drive to an existing disk array, refer to the 3ware
Hardware Installation and 3ware Disk Array Configuration Utility

Partition and format new drive

1 Run fdisk by selecting Run... from the Start menu and typing
fdisk in the Run window.
2 Restart the system again and format each device: select the
device with the right mouse button in the My Computer win-
dow, then select Format... from the popup menu.
3 After formatting, reboot the system again to avoid running an
incompatible DOS mode and to avoid low performance.
