Configuring iSLB Initiator Names or IP Addresses

You must specify the iSLB initiator name or IP address before configuring it.
Specifying the iSLB initiator name or IP address is the same as for an iSCSI initiator. See the
Note
Mapping" section on page
To enter iSLB initiator configuration submode using the name option for an iSLB initiator, follow these
steps:

switch(config)# no lslb initiator name

To enter iSLB initiator configuration submode using the ip-address option for an iSLB initiator, follow
these steps:

Purpose
Enters configuration mode.
Configures an iSLB initiator using the iSCSI name of
the initiator node (iqn.1987-02.com.cisco.initiator) and
enters iSLB initiator configuration submode. The
maximum name length is 223 alphanumeric characters.
The minimum length is 16.
Deletes the configured iSLB initiator.
Purpose
Enters configuration mode.
Configures an iSLB initiator using the IPv4 address of
the initiator node and enters iSLB initiator configuration
submode.
Deletes the configured iSLB initiator.
Configures an iSLB initiator using the IPv6 unicast
address of the initiator node and enters iSLB initiator
configuration submode.
Deletes the configured iSLB initiator.
