Note: Before you remove or install the 10 GB IO card, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure the server is not turned on or connected to the AC power. To power off
the server, see
2. Remove the left and right IO board cage modules. To remove the cover, see

3. Disconnect all necessary cable connections.
Removing the IO Expansion Module
1. Separate guide pins of the module from the holes on the IO Board and lift the
module upward.
