Installing a System Fan

Reverse the

Air Duct

Note: Before you remove or install the air duct, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure the server is not turned on or connected to the AC power. To power off
the server, see
2. Remove the left and right IO board cage modules. To remove the cover, see
and Right I/O Board Cage
3. Disconnect all necessary cable connections.

Removing the IOB Air Duct

1. Lift the air duct up from the I/O board cage module.
