BIOS Requirements

Recovery Mode

ROM Flash

Updating under DOS prompt
1. Copy AFUDOS.EXE, FBB.BAT and RomFileName.rom (ROM image) to bootable
storage.
2. Plug the bootable storage (ex: USB disk) and boot to DOS prompt (no HIMEM).
3. Specify the flash method depend on if Boot Block is needed to be updated.
FBB.BAT 1: Updates system ROM only, but Boot Block does not change.
FBB.BAT 2: Updates both system ROM and Boot Block.
4. Restart system & load BIOS default value.
Recovery Mode
Prepare USB disk on key (or Floppy disk/CD-ROM) for recovery.
1. Format USB Disk on Key (or Floppy disk/CD-ROM) with FAT16/FAT32 format.
2. Copy ROM image and rename it to AMIBOOT.ROM.
Recovery method:
1. Turn on the system configuration jumper J30-C (BIOS Recovery) to invoke
recovery function during POST.
2. Plug USB Disk on Key (or Floppy/CD-ROM).
3. Power on computer wait for recovery process complete.
