IDE Signal Cables
Systems come with two 3-connector IDE interface cables. If
one of the cables is not used, it is provided with the system
but not connected.
The following figure shows a typical three-connector IDE
cable. If the IDE cable is not keyed with a connector tab,
align the colored edge of the cable with the pin 1 side of the
drive connector.
A – Connects to System Board IDE Port
B – Connects to IDE Device
