The following figure shows the three-connector diskette drive signal cable.

IDE Signal Cables

All systems come with three-connector IDE interface cables attached to the primary and
secondary PCI/IDE connectors.
Each PCI/IDE connector on the system board supports two IDE devices.
If you are installing an optional IDE CD-ROM reader, connect it to the secondary IDE
connector. The primary IDE connector should be reserved for hard disks.
The following figure shows a typical three-connector IDE cable. If the IDE cable is not
keyed with a connector tab, align the colored edge of the cable with the pin 1 side of the
drive connector.
