Isolated from strong electromagnetic fields and electrical
noise produced by electrical devices (such as air
conditioners, large fans, large electric motors, radio and
TV transmitters, and high-frequency security devices).

Spacious enough to provide at least five inches
(13 centimeters) behind the system and three inches
(eight centimeters) on each side of the system for proper
cooling, airflow, and cable clearance.

Easily accessible for system maintenance and installation
of system upgrades.

Installation Guidelines

Install the workstation according to the following guidelines
and safety standards:

Check the voltage switch setting

Connect cables
T
Secure the workstation against unauthorized access or
removal.
Follow these guidelines as detailed in the following sections
to set up and secure your workstation.
Do not plug in the workstation power cable until
you connect all other external cables (keyboard,
mouse, monitor, LAN, and so on).
