Use this procedure to replace the battery:
1. Turn off and unplug the computer and any external
components connected to it.
2. Remove the system unit cover (see "Removing the Side
Covers" in Chapter 4). Observe all safety precautions
when removing the cover.
3. Locate the battery socket on the system board (see the
following figure).
Note:
This procedure is for system boards
using the 3-volt lithium battery shown in the
following figure.
