3.9.12 USB PORT

For SKILLRUN UNITY 5000 and SKILLRUN UNITY 7000 the USB port is used:
• for the following upgrades:
▪ High Kit;
▪ Low Kit;
▪ Tuner board (only the Japanese version- Unity 3.0);
• for recovery procedure;
• for transferring RADIO and TV channels and network configurations between interfaces (only for
Unity 3.0)
• for transferring user contents (audio, video, photos, documents) (only for Unity 3.0)
For SKILLRUN TX 500 the USB port is used only for maintenance operations (software update
and recovery procedure ).

3.9.13 BACK-UP BATTERY

There is a back-up battery on the CPU Board that is used to keep the internal clock powered when
the equipment is off.

3.9.14 BIOFEEDBACK SENSOR/BOARD (ONLY FOR UNITY 3.0 DISPLAY)

The biofeedback sensor/board is incorporated into SKILLRUN UNITY 7000 but it can be installed
on all the SKILLRUN UNITY 5000, providing that :
• MINIMUM APPLICABLE UNITY SW VERSION: 5.31.44
• OPERATING SYSTEM: 20180822_Rel04
• MIDDLEBOARD SKILLRUN : 100.4.129
This new functionality can be introduced thanks to the commercially available SKILLRUN
ADVANCED PERFORMANCE upgrade kit. For details about kit installation, see the instruc-

3.9.15 GYMKIT FUNCTIONALITY

• SKILLRUN UNITY 5000: Starting from SKILLRUN UNITY 5000 with SN DJJ0EU18*1 and
DJJ0AU18*91, GymKit functionality was introduced on Unity 3.0, thanks to the introduction of
the Bluetooth board and the cable 0WCU1070xx 'BT device cable'. GymKit on UNITY 3.0 will
function on the end user side once the GYMKIT APP has been enabled on the site pro.mywellness.
