3- Enable the 'Detect Gym Equipment' function.
CASE B: If the GymKit functions on the other equipment:
• Make sure that the last sw version of UNITY 3.0 is installed on the specific SKILLRUN. If neces-
sary, upgrade the sw using the USB upgrade key synchronised with PC Synch.
• If necessary, replace the cable 0WCU1070xx on the specific SKILLRUN .

6.15 EQUIPMENT TESTING AFTER THE INTERVENTION OF TECHNICAL

SERVICE

After a technical service intervention, the technician MUST check - in the same conditions in which
the customer discovered the problem - that the fault has been resolved.
The technician MUST also perform the following standard operating tests:
TEST 1: with the equipment on, perform an exercise (QUICK START) and check that the equip-
ment gradient and speed vary as the position of the joystick changes. [ Range: gradient: minimum
- average - maximum; speed: minimum - average - maximum].
TEST 2: Check that the peripheral devices function correctly (headphones, hand sensors, TGS key).
TEST 3: Check the integrity of cables and that there aren't any trapped cables. If there's a stripped
cable (also only with damaged outer sheath), replace cables and arrange them correctly so that the
cables are not trapped. See "5.4.2 Positioning of power supply socket and layout of cables"and
"5.4.3 recommendation regarding cable arrangement".
