The main functions of the CPU Board are the management of the following components:
▪ RS-485 serial line half duplex 115.2 KBoud to ALEWIN;
▪ LCD display;
▪ TV tuner (only for Unity 3.0 display);
▪ FM radio (only for Unity 3.0 display);
▪ Signals relative to measuring the heart beat (signals originating only from the Bluetooth
and ANT+ belts (upgrade kit));
▪ Joysticks;
▪ Headphones jack with microphone;
▪ Bluetooth module;
▪
USB port;
▪ WiFi connection;
▪ LAN network connection (only for Unity 3.0 display);
▪ TGS reader for data exchange with the TGS key;
▪ MIFARE reader for Mywellness Band.
The CPU board contains internal algorithms that permit calculating all the training values shown
on the display (calorie consumption, watts...).

3.9.4 HDMI (ONLY FOR UNITY 3.0 DISPLAY)

HDMI OUT used only on Unity SELF, at trade fairs, demos, events.
HDMI IN1 used for the TV input in the UNITY-I Japanese version; it is also used for the IPTV
ProIDIOM and DVB-T2 upgrade kit input. It is also used for the upgrade kit input External STB
HDMI via LAN.
HDMI IN2 used for an external decode input (e.g. SKY) only in the Personal line.

3.9.5 MICRO SD READER (ONLY FOR UNITY 3.0 DISPLAY )

The micro SD reader is the device used to read the outdoor videos stored in the micro SD board.
