Line filters can optionally be used for Smart Line Modules in conjunction with the associated line
reactors. In conjunction with line reactors and a consequential EMC-compliant system design,
line filters limit the conducted electromagnetic emissions generated by the Line Modules to the
limit values according to IEC 61800-3. They are mainly effective in the frequency range from
9 kHz to 30 MHz; this is the range relevant to ensure compliance with the appropriate standard.

Electric shock due to residual charges in power components
