Important
• The administrator password is required to change settings if it is enabled for changing settings using the
operation panel.
• • Auto nozzle check
Enables/Disables automatic nozzle checking. You can also select the page interval to perform automatic
nozzle checking.
• • Nozzle check error display
Enables/Disables displaying the nozzle check error.
• • System Cleaning frequency
Specifies the frequency of automatic system cleaning.
Note
• To maintain print quality, we recommend you select Short if you use the printer at a higher
elevation.
• Print pattern after new head •
Selects whether you print an adjustment pattern after replacing the Print head.
• • Ink ejection status check
Sets the function to automatically detect the print head ejection status.
◦ ◦ Auto fix
Performs an automatic fix when a change in the print head ejection status is detected.
◦ ◦ Display warning
Displays a notification message on the touch screen when a change in the print head ejection status
is detected.
◦ ◦ OFF
Disables automatic detection.
Important
• Depending on the paper feeding method, Cutting mode settings, etc., automatic detection may not
be performed.
