Preparations for commissioning
Danger of injury if the Viewer/Master selector switch is changed to "Master" during
monitoring!
DDL communication will be interrupted. Uncontrolled valve positions may occur.
Make sure that the Viewer/Master selector switch is always on "Viewer" during monitoring.
1. Set the Viewer/Master selector switch (2) to "Viewer".
2. Connect the bus module or participant upstream from the DDL-X-Tool to the integrated XPD2
DDL IN plug (1) with the DDL cable.
3. Connect the following participants to the integrated XPD1 DDL OUT socket (6) with a DDL cable.
4. Terminate the last participant in the DDL line with a terminator plug.
The power supply will be provided via the DDL connection.
