Voltage Driven vs BMID Communications

Default Battery Setup for Voltage-mode Charging
ProCore chargers can operate with or without a BMID.
BMIDs provide the charger specific charging parameters for each vehicle and
monitor the battery voltage and temperature during charging. A BMID effectively
allows the charger to safely charge each battery at a high rate while preventing
overheating.
Some sites do not need these high charging rates and do not use BMIDs. Here
the charger uses preset charging parameters that allow a charging rate that is
safe for all batteries at the site.
