Minimum equipment required

The following equipment is required to use the emulation migration:
• An Agilent E5900B emulation probe.
• A method for connecting the emulation probe to the target system. The
target system must have an appropriate JTAG debug port connector. The
target system must meet the criteria described in Chapter 2, "Designing a
Target System for an Emulation Probe," beginning on page 25.
• A host computer such as a PC, a workstation, or an Agilent 16700-series
logic analysis system.
• A user interface, such as a high-level source debugger or the logic analysis
system's Emulation Control Interface.
