Hot Line (Immediate/Delayed)
Hot Line Delayed
Upon lifting your handset you will receive an internal dial tone. However, if you do not dial a number within a system-wide
defined time-out your telephone will automatically be routed to a pre-defined destination. This feature cannot be configured
from your telephone; it is typically defined by your system administrator (See "Station Setup Features" on page 235.)
Hot Line Immediate
Immediately upon lifting your handset your telephone may be automatically routed to a predefined destination. This feature
cannot be defined at your telephone, but it is typically defined by the system administrator.
To activate Hot Line Delayed (when defined at your telephone):
1. Lift handset or press
SPKR
2. Listen for the dial tone.
3. Wait for a certain period of time until the hot line destination rings.
4. Wait for answer.
NOTE!
During dial tone, you can dial the other number to override the feature.
To activate Hot Line Immediate (when defined at your telephone):
1. Lift handset or press
SPKR
2. Press any call key.
3. The hot line destination telephone will ring immediately.
4. Wait for answer.
