Dionex ED50A Electrochemical Detector

When the working electrode is glassy carbon, the detector output typically
drifts downward for up to one day. Setting up the Dionex ED50A the day
before beginning an analysis allows enough time for the baseline noise to
diminish considerably. To conserve mobile phase during this time, set the
flow rate to 25% of the value required for the analysis. The Dionex ED50A
will stabilize quickly after the flow rate is increased to the proper value.
