This chapter describes routine service procedures that the user can perform. All
other procedures must be performed by Thermo Fisher Scientific personnel.

Before replacing any parts, refer to the troubleshooting information in Chapter 4
to isolate the cause of the problem. To contact Thermo Fisher Scientific in the
U.S., call 1-800-346-6390 and select the Technical Support for Dionex products
option. Outside the U.S., call the nearest Thermo Fisher Scientific office.
Substitution of non-Dionex/Thermo Scientific parts may impair Dionex ED50A
performance and void the product warranty. For details, see the warranty
statement in the Dionex Terms and Conditions.

Eliminating Liquid Leaks

The PEEK version of the Dionex ED50A is plumbed with 1.60-mm (1/16-in)
PEEK tubing, Dionex ferrule fittings (P/N 043276), and 10-32 fitting bolts
(P/N 043275). For tightening requirements, see Installation of Dionex Ferrule
Fittings.

customer-serviceable. Repair of electronics components
must be performed by Thermo Fisher Scientific
personnel.
The CPU card contains a lithium battery. If the CPU card is
replaced, dispose of the used battery according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
