4 10 Column Base Removal

COLUMN BASE
1. Remove vertical column assembly. Refer to Section 4-1.
2. Remove follower cable. Refer to Section 4 3 5.
3. Remove lower brake and bearings. Refer to Sections 4 7 and 4 8.
4. Remove hex head bolt and flat washers securing column base assembly to vertical
column. See Illustration 4-13.
5. Pull column base assembly and spacers from vertical column.
