wrr-queue cos-map

The wrr-queue cos-map Global Configuration mode command maps Class of Service (CoS) values to a specific
egress queue. To restore the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
wrr-queue cos-map queue-id cos1...cos8
no wrr-queue cos-map [queue-id]
Parameters
queue-id — Specifies the queue number to which the CoS values are mapped.
cos1...cos8 — Specifies CoS values to be mapped to a specific queue. (Range: 0-7)
Default Configuration
CoS values are mapped to 8 queues as follows:
Cos0 is mapped to queue 3.
Cos1 is mapped to queue 1.
Cos2 is mapped to queue 2.
Cos3 is mapped to queue 4.
Cos4 is mapped to queue 5.
Cos5 is mapped to queue 6.
Cos6 is mapped to queue 7.
Cos7 is mapped to queue 8.

User Guidelines
This command can be used to distribute traffic into different queues, where each queue is configured with different
Weighted Round Robin (WRR) and Weighted Random Early Detection (WRED) parameters.
It is recommended to specifically map a single VPT to a queue, rather than mapping multiple VPTs to a single
queue. Use the priority-queue out Interface Configuration (Ethernet, Port-channel) mode command to enable
expedite queues.
Example
The following example maps CoS 7 to queue 2.
