When configuring communications, if the user picks an Echelon device such as the VHF
communicator for the communications medium, the user must also add that module to the
Echelon configuration.
3.5.2.8.2 No Communication
A SEAR IIi with the site type set to No Communication has no link to an office system and no
alarms or messages are handled by the unit.
3.5.2.8.3 Collector (Master)
A SEAR IIi with the site type set to Collector is the master unit in the ATCS enhanced routing
protocol that has a direct link to the office system. SEAR IIi modules configured as Nodes report
their alarms and status to this site. The unit then forwards the messages to the office system.
