Installing the oil filter

Installing the oil screen

Tilt the motorcycle to one side and fill the oil filter housing to
about ½ full with engine oil.

Insert oil filter into the oil filter housing.

Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover.

Mount oil filter cover

Mount and tighten screws

Mount and tighten the oil drain plug
the new seal ring.

Push the oil screen with O-rings onto a pin wrench.
-
Push the pin wrench through the opening into the drill hole of
the opposite engine case wall and push the oil screen as far
as possible into the engine case.

Mount and tighten screw plug

with the magnet and
M12x1.5 20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft}
