Changing the rear brake disc

If the brake discs are changed, the brake linings must also be changed.

Position chain adjuster 6) . Mount nut
tighten it yet.

Make sure that chain adjusters 6) are fitted correctly on

adjusting screws

Check the chain tension.

The wide adjustment range of the chain adjusters
(32 mm (1.26 in)) enables different secondary
ratios with the same chain length.
Chain adjusters 6) can be turned by 180
-
Operate the foot brake lever repeatedly until the brake
linings are in contact with the brake disc and there is a
pressure point.
Finishing work

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.
Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

Remove the rear wheel.

Clean the contact surface of the brake disc.

Position the new brake disc with the label facing outward.

Mount and tighten screws
