5.27.2

CHANGING THE PLANETARY REDUCTION GEAR OIL

This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Attention: perform all the draining, filling and oil level checks with the
axle horizontal.
Before draining the oil from the planetary reduction gear, turn it
so as to bring the oil cap (4) to the highest point (position A).
Partially unscrew the cap to eliminate any internal pressure.
Turn the reducer with the cap (4) facing down (position B).
Remove the cap and drain the oil.
Turn the reducer until the hole (4) is in the position shown. Fill
with the recommended oil. Tighten the cap to a torque of 60
Nm.

CHANGING THE GEARBOX OIL

This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Only present on front axle
Actuate the relative vent (7) to eliminate any internal pressure
before unscrewing the oil drain plug (6). Drain the oil from the
gearbox by unscrewing the drain plug (6). Drain the oil
completely from the transmission. Clean the cap (6) and tighten
to a torque of 60 Nm.
Always actuate the appropriate vent (7) to eliminate any
internal pressure before unscrewing the oil filler plug (5).
Unscrew the cap (5) and fill with the recommended oil flush
with the level hole. Allow the oil to flow in the transmission
and top-up, if necessary. Tighten the cap (5) to a torque of
60 Nm.
