Place the new battery (with the same characteristics as the previous one and adequately charged)
in its housing
Secure it with the previously disassembled anchor systems
Thoroughly clean the terminals of the machine from any residual oxide with a cloth dampened with
water and dry well
Grease the terminals with Vaseline grease
In inverse order of disassembly, first connect the positive pole and then the negative pole,
tightening the terminals until they are blocked (do not over tighten)
Reposition the plastic protective parts on the poles
Dispose of the old battery in accordance with regulations in force
The recommended battery must have the following characteristics:
Nominal voltage: 12V
Capacity: 160 Ah
Disconnection (BATTERY SWITCH)
Before working on any part of the electrical system, the power supply
has to be shut off with the knob (see figure) on the side of the battery
compartment. The battery is disconnected by turning the knob
anticlockwise (and reset by turning it clockwise).
Important: perform this operation only with the engine OFF.
After turning off the machine, wait 3 minutes before disconnecting the battery!
