For each weight category identified, the height and the angle to which it can be lifted can be identified in
the diagram or conversely, given a height and an angle, the maximum weight that can be handled can be
determined.
Each machine has the specific load diagram either on the window to the right of the driver's seat or in the
Quick Guide.
Depending on the symbol, the load diagram can refer to the machine on
wheels or on outriggers (if applicable for the machine model).

STABILITY CONDITIONS

The EN 1459 / ISO 22915 specifies the regulations for basic tests to check the stability of industrial trucks
with a telescopic boom. It applies to trucks fitted with fork booms and/or accessories. The stability tests
listed in the standard ensure that the type of truck specified has a satisfactory stability when used in a
suitable and reasonable manner under typical operating conditions. Here below is an extract of the
standard.
ISO 22915 - 11 - INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS WITH TELESCOPIC BOOM
This appendix specifies the basic tests to check the stability of industrial trucks with a telescopic boom. It
applies to trucks fitted with fork booms and/or accessories.
Conditions of validity:
The stability tests reported in this appendix ensure that the type of truck specified has a satisfactory
stability when used in a suitable and reasonable manner under typical operating conditions listed here
below:
a) Operation (driving and stacking) on basically smooth, flat and prepared surfaces;
b) Operation with forks tilted backwards and the load in the lowered retracted (operating) position, even
uphill and downhill on modest slopes;
c) Stacking with the fork booms substantially horizontal;
d) Operation with the load's centre of gravity approximately on the longitudinal central surface of the
truck.
ISO 22915- 14 -INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS WITH OFF-ROAD TELESCOPIC BOOM
This appendix specifies the basic tests to check the stability of off-road trucks with a telescopic boom. It
applies to trucks fitted with fork booms and/or accessories.
Conditions of validity
The stability tests reported in this appendix ensure that the type of truck specified has a satisfactory
stability when used in a suitable and reasonable manner under typical operating conditions listed below:
a) Operation (driving and stacking) on non-prepared ground;
b) Operation with forks tilted backwards and the load in the lowered retracted (operating) position, even
uphill and downhill on modest slopes;
c) Stacking with the fork booms substantially horizontal;
d) Operation with the load's centre of gravity approximately on the longitudinal central surface of the
truck.
