Drain The Water From The Fuel Pre-Filter - Snorkel SR9244 Operator And Maintenance Manual

Proper operation is guaranteed and damage is minimised thanks to the water tank having a level sensor. In
any case make sure that the liquid level is between minimum and maximum.
Attention! Frequent top-ups require the assistance service to intervene.
Typical characteristics of the coolant liquid:
•
Mix 50% in volume with water
• Density at 20°C 1.131 kg/l
•
Boiling point 155°C
•
Freezing point -35°C

DRAIN THE WATER FROM THE FUEL PRE-FILTER

•
Continue with engine off;
•
Place a container under the pre-filter to collect the liquids;
•
Disconnect the power cord connections;
• Unscrew the drain plug (6) found in the lower part of the pre-filter;
• Drain the liquid until only "diesel" is present:
•
Close the cap again by turning it completely by hand;
•
Reconnect the electrical system cables;
•
Dispose of the drained liquids according to the relevant regulations in force
