MDA V8.6 – User Guide
1. In the calculated signal list on the left of the window, select a cal-
culated signal.

3. Change the data. For more information about the possible values
of the entry fields, see "To define a calculated signal" on page 58.
1. In the calculated signal list on the left of the window, select a cal-
culated signal.

3. Enter a new name.
Valid characters are a-z, A-Z, 0-9, underscore, point, and square
brackets. Square brackets must always occur in pairs. Other char-
acters or blank space are not allowed.
After saving, the new name is displayed in all instances where the
calculated signal is used.
1. In the calculated signal list on the left of the window, select a cal-
culated signal.
2. Click

The calculated signal is deleted but the assignment of the cal-
culated signal to instruments is kept.
1. Select a calculated signal in the list on the left of the window.
2. In the context menu, select Clone calculated signal.
A new calculated signal with the given data from the selected sig-
nal is filled in the form. The name is based on the selected signal.
