Customer-Specific Enhancements

You can enhance MDA V8.6 according to your needs.
For more information, see the MDA V8 Installation Guide, in the sections "Cus-
tomizing the Network Installation" and "Customizing the Support Information".

Defining ASCII Measure File Formats
MDA V8.6 can read and write customer-specific textual (ASCII file) measure
file formats, like customer-specific files in *.csv or *.txt format.

The measure file is no longer synchronized.
1. To define a new ASCII format, navigate to the following folder:
%ProgramData%\ETAS\MDA\8.x\CorePlugins\
Etas.TargetAccess.Targets.MeasureFile.Formats.

The following files are contained:
exampleAsciiFormat.ini
Contains the information how the file must be structured.
Note that only the information as described in this file is avail-
able when writing a new format. Other contents will not be gen-
erated.
exampleAsciiFile.exampleExtension
Provides an example of a measure file for the above men-
tioned INI file.
2. Save the file with the new file extension in the same folder as the
files above. Ensure that for each file extension only one INI file is
available. Also file extensions for formats supported by MDA V8.6
directly must not be used again. Otherwise, conflicts will be
caused that might lead to errors.
