Corrosive fumes or exhaust from machinery
•
Electronic equipment that generates strong radio frequency fields (such as a radio or
television receiver)

Equipment that generates strong magnetic fields that can corrupt data on hard disks or
floppy disks
•
Reproducing machines.
Note: If a reproducing or copying machine must be located in same room as the system,
ensure that it is more than 3 m (10 ft.) away from the system. If the machine is not equipped
with a filtering system, ensure that the room is ventilated by an exhaust fan.

In order to complete the installation, you must supply the following items:

Information and Services
In order to complete the installation, you must ensure that the
•
Ethernet connection is available at the site of server (one Ethernet connection (100 Base-T)
is required if you are installing Mitel Networks IP telephones)

Application
Configure and manage the system
Connect 25-pair peripheral cables with lines and trunks
Connect lines and trunks from the rear of the ASU to the
MDF
- Standard Ethernet cable to connect to a Layer 2 switch
- Ethernet crossover cable to connect the CIM ports
- Cable from the digital trunk (NSU) and the demarcation
point has a different pinout.
Connect the 3300 Controller to digital trunks and NSUs;
terminate at the FIM ports
Ground the NSU and ASU
Provide connectivity between NSU and demarcation point
Power back-up
