One Extended CompactPCI* Bus

The ZT 5085 can be used in a configuration that supports one "extended" bus. The extended bus is
comprised of two bus segments that are bridged to become part of the same bus hierarchy. By
bridging the two bus segments together, one system master can control 14 peripheral slots.
The CompactPCI* segments can be bridged together with a bridge mezzanine board mated to a
system master processor board (for example, ZT 4901 and ZT 5524). This two-board complex can
be installed in slots 9 and 10, or slots 11 and 12 to bridge CompactPCI bus segments 1 and 2.
