Advancing or omitting the date

You can advance the date to print a date up to thirty days ahead or omit the date so that it does not
print on your mail.
1. Ensure that the appropriate job is open and selected on the Run Mail screen.
2. Select Edit Envelope.
3. Select Print Date.
4. Select the desired date option:
Don't print date
l
Print today's date
l
Today + 1
l
Select from calendar
l
5. Select the desired format option.
6. Select OK.

Changing the machine speed

1. Ensure that the appropriate job is open and selected on the Run Mail screen.
2. Select Machine speed from the Mail Information list box on the left side of the Run Mail screen.
3. Select the appropriate setting (Normal, Reduced, Slow, Very Slow).
4. Select OK when done.

Printing a sample mailpiece

Run a sample mailpiece to make sure your job will run and that all the elements (address, Ad/Graphic
etc.) are positioned correctly.
1. Ensure that the appropriate job is open and selected on the Run Mail screen.
2. Select the Options button.
3. Select Print a sample piece....
4. Select Start or Tape.
