Creating, editing and deleting users
You can create users as a security measure, to protect access to certain features and functions. Once
you have created users, you can edit user settings including name, password and password hint. If
you want to remove a user from the system you can delete the user.
Important: Supervisor access rights are required to manage users.
Creating a user
Important: Supervisor access rights are required to manage users.
Follow these steps to create a user:
1. Select Settings under Mailing on the Home screen.
2. Select System from the list on the left side of the screen.
3. Select Users.
4. Select Add new. The Create Users screen displays.
5. Select the Username field to add the new user name.
6. Enter the user name and select OK.
7. If passwords are required on your system, or if the user needs supervisor access, select the
Password field. Type in the password and select OK.
8. Select the appropriate user role: operator or supervisor
Supervisors have full access and create other users, You must have one supervisor.

Operators may be restricted from certain functions such as refilling the meter. A supervisor
l
can set the restrictions on the Roles setup tab.
9. If necessary, select the Password hint field to add a password hint.
10. Enter the hint and select OK.
11. Select OK to return to the user settings screen.
12. Select the Home button to return to the Home screen.
