6.2.1 Replacing moving column PCBs

Preparations before replacement

WARNING
The X-ray unit contains live mains voltage parts. Switch off the power to the
X-ray unit externally before replacing the column PCBs.
1. Drive the column to a convenient height and switch off the X-ray unit.
2. Make sure the main switch and/or an external fuse are off.
3. Remove the moving column upper front cover and ECM cover, see
section "Removing column covers" on page 131.
4. You can now replace the PCBs.
When replacing the CPU3 PCB detach the ID memorycard PCB (1) from the
old CPU3 PCB and attach it to the new one.
