Insert Mode [INS]

(1) Function
Used to select the insert mode for character input. A character entered
through the keyboard is inserted to the cursor position.
(2) Procedures
(a) Step 1:
Each time the INS key is pressed, the input mode or replace mode is
selected alternately. When the insert mode is already selected, this
operation is unnecessary.
(b) Step 2:
Move the cursor to a position where you wish to insert characters, using the
cursor keys (, , , ).

(c) Step 3:
Press a key for a desired character, and the character thus input is inserted
at the cursor position.
