5. Detach the 3M tape .
6. Remove the fan harnesses from the clips.
7. To separate the affected fan from the right-side cover, remove the corresponding four M3
screws for each fan with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
8. Replace the affected fan.
9. To re-install the fan modules, follow these steps in reverse order.
Replacing fan
The fan 7 provides air cooling for DMD module.
1. Remove the top cover.

3. To remove the fan module from the projector, loosen the two M3 captive screws with a Phillips
#1 screwdriver.
