Procedure, measuring location, criteria, and remarks
1. Turn starting switch to OFF position.
2. Disconnect connectors J2 and EGR V and connect T-adapter to either
female side.
Between J2 (female) (41) and (42), or between
EGR V (female) (2) and (3)
Between J2 (female) (42) and (51), or between
Resistance
EGR V (female) (2) and (4)
Between J2 (female) (41) and (51), or between
EGR V (female) (3) and (4)
Sensor inside EGR may be defective.
(Since this is an internal defect, troubleshooting cannot be performed.)
If no failure is found by above checks, engine controller is defective.
