50 Disassembly and assembly

2) Disassemble No.1 carrier and No.2 sun gear
assembly (7) according to the following
procedure.
1] Remove snap ring (9), thrust washer (10),
No.1 planetary gear (11), needle roller
bearing (12), and thrust washer (13).
a Do not reuse snap ring (9).
2] Drive pin (15) into shaft (16), and remove
shaft (16) from No.1 carrier (7a).
3] Pull out pin (15) driven into shaft (16).
a Do not reuse pin (15).

4] Remove snap ring (14), and remove No.2
sun gear (8).
6. No.2 carrier assembly
1) Remove spacer (17).
2) Remove No.2 carrier assembly (18) from
case (3).
3) Disassemble No.2 carrier assembly
according to the following procedure.
1] Drive pin (19) into shaft (20), and remove
shaft (20) from No.2 carrier (18a).
2] Pull out pin (19) driven into shaft (20).
a Do not reuse pin (19).
3] Remove thrust washer (21), planetary
gear (22), and needle bearing (23) from
No.2 carrier (18a).
