A. Purpose of Ring Gear Removal
By removing the ring gear assembly
only, the following inspections can be
made.
(I) Drive pinion bearings (page 117 ~118, 125)
(2) Ring gear bearings
(3) Gear teeth condition
(4) Tooth contact pattern (page 121, 128 - 129)
(5) Drive pinion bearing preload (page 128 - 128)
