the measurements are within the limits listed in Table 12.

Determine fastener requirements
You need the following information to determine fastener
requirements:
• What fasteners you must use.
• How deeply you must embed the fasteners into the wall.
• The vertical distance between fasteners.
• The horizontal distance between fasteners.
For wood and metal stud walls, determine this spacing by the
spacing between wall studs. Wall stud spacing must be within
the range listed in Table 13.
