8. Attach the cylinder to a safe lifting device and slowly pull it out of the body.

Installing a New Cylinder

HIS PROCEDURE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF TWO PERSONS
To install a new cylinder:
1. Make sure the Maximizer is positioned to the far front of the body.
2. Use a safe lifting device to carefully slide the cylinder in its place.
3. Connect the hydraulics, install the base pin and the bolt, and free the cylinder from
the lifting device.
4. Remove the bolts from the cover and lift the cover.

5. Start the engine and the hydraulic system (PTO).
6. Have a second person move the control to extend the cylinder while you ensure its
alignment with the Maximizer.
7. Install the cylinder head pin that locks the cylinder to the Maximizer.
8. Tack weld the gard using the weld code indicated in the following figure.
