Body Hoist Replacement Procedure

HE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF TWO PERSONS
THIS SAFETY RULE WILL EXPOSE BOTH PEOPLE AND EQUIPMENT TO HIGH RISKS
To remove the body hoist:
1. Ensure that the parking brake is applied and the vehicle is tagged out for
maintenance purposes, see
2. Make sure the body is down in total horizontal position.
3. Go inside the body and remove the access cover to the anchor pin of the hoist.

4. Purge any residual oil in the cylinder that may be adding pressure by turning the
bleeder valve.
5. Remove the anchor pin.
