Assessing Measured Values (OK/nOK)
3DInspect gives you the option of generating up to 8 logic signals for assessing measured values
(OK/nOK). Activate the "OK/nOK" tab for the configuration. The measured values from the measuring pro-
grams that you marked for output (see Chap. 3.16.8) and the calculated values (see Chap. 7.1) can be
used.

The "OK/nOK" tab displays the currently assessed measured values. Click on the "Signal X" button to
configure the relevant assessment. The following dialog is displayed:
Fig. 7.5: "OK/nOK settings" dialog
The following settings are available:
-
Signal X: Enter a name for the evaluated signal.
-
Value N: Select a measured value to be evaluated. The measured values from the measuring pro-
grams that you marked for output (see Chap. 3.16.8), the device temperature of the sensor and the
calculated values (see Chap. 7.1) can be used.
Min: The lower limit of the range for assessing the selected measured value.
Max: The upper limit of the range for assessing the selected measured value.
Invert: Depending on the parameter setting, the assessment is performed as follows:
Not active: If the relevant signal lies within the specified range, the value is deemed
OK, otherwise it is deemed nOK. If the measured value is equal to the range limits, it is
also deemed OK. If an error occurs during determination of the measured value, the
value is deemed nOK.
Active: If the relevant signal lies within the specified range, the value is deemed nOK,
otherwise it is deemed OK. If the measured value is equal to the range limits, it is also
deemed nOK. If an error occurs during determination of the measured value, the value
is deemed OK.
Logical link: Specify whether the current result of the evaluation should be logically linked to
another signal. You can logically link up to eight signals. The following algorithms are availa-
ble:
AND: Logical AND link.
OR: Logical OR link.
XOR: Logical XOR link.
Note: When outputting and logging measured values, the following numerical assignment applies: OK =
1, nOK = 0.
