Note: Use the "Recent 3D files" menu item to load and display previously saved or loaded point clouds
(see Fig. 3.58).
3DInspect also offers the possibility to load multiple point clouds. Then you may select a certain point
cloud in the list of loaded point clouds in order to display it and its corresponding measured values.
In order to load multiple point clouds offline, either select the "File  Open 3D files" menu item.
A standard Windows dialog is displayed where you select the desired files. The selected files are dis-
payed in a list (see Fig. 3.16) after confirmation of the dialog and the first point cloud is shown in the pre-
view window, the 2D-View and the 3D-View.

The "File settings" box differs depending on the number of loaded files and on the currently activated
view.
Display Elements and Parameters in the "File settings" Box:
1 - Name: Name of the loaded file.
- Path: The folder which contains the loaded file.

File info: Press this button in order to display extended information about the loaded point
cloud.
2 - Play/Pause: This starts/pauses the playback of the loaded point clouds. When the playback is
active, the point clouds are processed top down. The currently processed point cloud is visual-
ized und its measured values are displayed.
- Stop: This stops the playback of the point clouds.
- Endless mode: Use this button in order to activate the endless playback mode. After reaching
the last point cloud in the list for playback, the playback restarts automatically at the first point
cloud.
- Slider control: Shows the progress of the playback. When the playback is stopped you can ac-
tivate individual point clouds by dragging the slider.
3 - List of point clouds: Shows the loaded point clouds. When the playback is stopped you can
activate individual point clouds in order to visualize them and display their measured values.
