10.4 Maintenance

Before the performance of maintenance works, you must imperatively observe and comply
with the safety regulations described in chapter 2.6.
Maintenance works may only be carried out when the hydraulic power unit is switched off.
Spare parts Only use genuine Bosch Rexroth spare parts; otherwise, functional safety cannot be
guaranteed and you will forfeit your claim to warranty.
When ordering spare parts, the material number and the material short text are required.
The data is available from the relevant name plate (see chapter 5.9).
After maintenance and before commissioning, the following is to be checked by
a qualified expert:

10.5.1 Exchanging the hydraulic fluid

Exchanging the
For exchanging the hydraulic fluid, there are 2 variants.
hydraulic fluid:
With variant 1, you open the drain screw at the tank and let the hydraulic fluid flow into
the oil pan. The hydraulic fluid must then be removed from the oil pan by means of
suitable binders.
With variant 2, you remove the entire hydraulic power unit and then drain the hydraulic
fluid into a suitable tank.
Before the works to be carried out, observe the information at the beginning of
this chapter.
After the hydraulic fluid has been exchanged, you must carry out an initial commissioning.
This is necessary in order to check the functionality of the work station.
To this end, complete the work steps listed in chap. 8.5. In this connection, you don't have
to complete the work steps to check the EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton.
Dispose of any supplies and auxiliary materials spilled and used as prescribed pursuant to
the country-specific legal provisions.
