12 Troubleshooting
The fault table may support you in the troubleshooting. This table is not exhaustive.
If it is not possible to identify and remedy fault causes, please contact the responsible
Bosch Rexroth service.

12.1 Fault table

Situation
Hydraulic power unit
switched on by means of
"ON" switch but the motor
does not start up.
Electric motor switched on by
means of "ON" switch but no
flow can be identified.
No pressure is built up.
Hydraulic coupling cannot
be coupled.
To exchange the micro-fuse, the control box must be opened. These works may only be
completed by a qualified, specialized electrician.
For the position of the micro-fuse in the control box refer to the circuit diagram (fig. 8.).

Possible causes
Mains plug not connected.
EMERGENCY OFF
pushbutton is operated.
Motor protection relay has
been triggered.
Micro-fuse of the control
line defective.
Filling level in the tank is
too low.
Hydraulic connection lines
for P/T distributor
are interchanged. (P to T)
Pressure relief valve at
the P/T distributor or at
the hydraulic power unit
set wrongly.
Residual pressure in
the component.
Recommended remedy
Establish the cable connection
Repeat the switch-on
Do not repeat the switch-on
Commission a qualified, specialized
electrician with the examination
and remedy
Allow the hydraulic power unit to
cool down
Repeat the switch-on
Exchange of the micro-fuse by
a qualified, specialized electrician
Stop the hydraulic power unit
immediately Refill hydraulic fluid
Stop the hydraulic power unit
immediately and check the
hydr. connection, see chap. 7.7.
Correct the hydr. connection.
Afterwards, carry out an initial
commissioning according to chap. 8.5.
For checking the situation, carry out an
initial commissioning according to
chap. 8.5.
To reduce the residual pressure in
components with coupling connector,
use the pressure relief socket
material number R961002927

To reduce the residual pressure in
components with coupling connector,
you have to disconnect the coupling
