The following is the description of the electric installation of the hydraulic power unit.
If a compressor is used (e.g. for pneumatic training set-ups, the operating instructions of
the compressor with regard to the electr. installation are to be observed.
For the electric installation of the work station it is assumed that
Requirements
• the work station has been set-up properly (see chapter 8.1),
• the work station has been filled with hydraulic fluid,
• the correct connection voltage and fuse protection are available at the power supply
provided on the customer side,
• no electric lines are damaged,
• the connection cable is laid in a way that it cannot be crushed, rolled over, bent or
tensioned and that there is no risk of tripping.
Installation How to install the hydraulic power unit electrically:
Check the socket on the customer side for correct design (Schuko socket).

Check the socket on the customer side for correct rated voltage (~230 V/50-60 Hz AC).

Check the socket on the customer side for sufficient electric fuse protection

(at least 6A/max. 16A) and consider an increased current consumption upon
motor start-up.
Connect the mains plug at the connection cable of the control box to the socket on the

customer side.
